For round-the-clock fun in the sun look no further than Acapulco. Visitors continue to flock here for the famous beaches ringing the bay, the variety of water sports and the energetic nightlife.

Take a break from the beach.

Snorkel and scuba dive at the Isla de la Roqueta, go deep-sea fishing out on the Pacific or try parasailing over the bay. Take a day trip to Taxco to shop for silver. Catch the daring cliff divers at La Quebrada. Get romantic as you watch the sunset at the beach of Pie de la Cuesta.

Stay in the hotel zone.

The main hotel zone has some of the best beaches, lots of restaurants and many popular open-air oceanfront dance clubs. For top-end hotels head further west to the Playa Diamante. Luxury or moderate, Acapulco's hotels are very affordable and some of the best values in the sun.
